Google dropkicks support for IE 9

Another interesting move from Google by dropping support on Google Apps for Internet Explorer 9. It is great to see a large tech company making a push to push out old technology to make way for focussing on the new. Outdated browsers make it difficult for web development companies, but also the consumer is affected by not getting the most rich browsing experience on the web due to outdated browsers not supporting the latest features. Microsoft have been very remiss in not having browsers push the latest updates in the same way Chrome and Firefox do, and as such the average Internet Explorer user has no idea they should be updating. This update should see Microsoft lose even more market share for their browsers, which could also be another reason Google have made this move.
