We provide this notice to explain how Quantum Web Solutions Pty Limited (ACN 149 024 466) (Quantum, we, us) handles personal information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). To make it easy to find, we make it available on every page of our website.
This policy applies both to visitors to our website and to personal information we handle when providing digital, software, hosting and AI-enabled services to our business clients. Where we handle personal information on behalf of a client, we do so as a service provider, on that client's instructions and under a Data Processing Agreement, and the client remains responsible for that information as the entity that collected it from individuals.

Two types of information are collected:
Quantum Web Solutions Pty Ltd does not collect or record personal information, other than information you choose to provide through the online forms on this website.
If you do submit online forms containing personal information, we will use that information to respond to your message and upon occasion for email marketing (covered below). The main purpose of collecting and using personal information submitted through our site is to respond to customer enquiries or feedback from this site. The information gathered will only be used to complete your request unless specifically stated on a particular form.
Information provided by you will be handled in accordance with Australian privacy laws. We maintain strict privacy standards and procedures with a view to preventing unauthorised access to your data by anyone other than Quantum Web Solutions Pty Ltd.
Sensitive and health information. Some client engagements involve sensitive information, including health information. We collect, use or disclose sensitive information only where the relevant client has a lawful basis and has authorised us to do so, and we apply additional security controls to it. We do not use sensitive information for our own purposes.
Email addresses and any other contact details you provide may be used for email marketing upon occasion. Any email marketing we send includes a simple opt option to no longer receive direct marketing communications.
We will not disclose your personal information to a third party without your consent, unless we are required or authorised to do so by law or other regulation. In the unlikely event of an investigation into suspected unlawful or improper activity, a law enforcement agency or government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect the web server's records (eg. in relation to hacking or abusive messages).
Service providers and sub-processors. We use a small number of trusted service providers to deliver our services, including cloud infrastructure and AI processing (Amazon Web Services), website and email delivery tools, and analytics providers. These providers may process personal information on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions. We keep a current list of the sub-processors used for client data, available on request, and we remain accountable for personal information handled by our service providers.
We use Cookies on our site, but only for functioning of the website and Google Remarketing as further mentioned below. We also use Cookies for collecitng data in Google Analytics to help us understand traffic coming to our site for such things as total visits, unique and repeat visits, pages visited, demographic data and other general data. We do not use Cookies to capture any identifable information specific to any person about our website visitors such as name, phone, passwords etc.
For our clients, cookies are used within the login area to store session information.
A cookie is a block of data that is shared between a web server and a user's browser. Cookies give the server information about a user's identity and website visiting patterns and preferences. You can find more information about cookies at the Microsoft website.
If you believe that any information held by us about you is incorrect or incomplete you should contact us to amend this information. Any information which is found to be incorrect will be corrected as soon as possible.
You have the right to access personal data that is held about you. To obtain a copy of your personal information we hold, please call us or fill in our online contact form and we will attempt to provide this to you within a reasonable timeframe.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on our website and takes effect when posted. We will take reasonable steps to notify clients of any material change that affects personal information we handle on their behalf. This policy was last updated on 11th August 2026.
Quantum use Remarketing with Google Analytics to advertise online. Third-party vendors, including Google, may show our ads on sites across the Internet. Quantum and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimise, and serve ads based on someone's past visits to your website.
These campaigns do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) including, but not limited to, email addresses, telephone numbers, and credit card numbers.
These cookies do not allow us to use or associate personally identifiable information with remarketing lists, cookies, data feeds, or other anonymous identifiers. We aren't allowed to use or associate targeting information, such as demographics or location, with any personally identifiable information collected from the ad or its landing page.
We aren't allowed to share any personally identifiable information with Google through our remarketing tag or any product data feeds which might be associated with our ads.
You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads using the Ads Settings.
You can download the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on providing the ability to prevent their data from being collected and used by Google Analytics.
The transfer of information across any medium may involve a degree of risk, and the Internet is no different. However the protection of personal privacy is a priority of Quantum Web Solutions Pty Ltd. We use a range of technologies and internal policies to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of information, we secure sensitive data by: including firewalls, access controls, restrictions and appropriate physical, electronic, internal processes and management processes and procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online and offline. For highly sensitive information and documentation this is held by senior management, and viewed only by relevant personnel. This helps ensure that your data is secured not only from access and visibility but also from unauthorised alteration or erasure.
This website does not provide facilities that guarantee secure transmission of information over the internet. You should be aware that there are risks in transmitting information across the internet, including online forms and email. If you are concerned about conveying sensitive or personal material to Quantum Web Solutions Pty Ltd over the internet, contact us by telephone to discuss the matter.
Where we store and process information. We store and process personal information within Australia. For client projects that involve hosting or AI processing of personal information, we use cloud infrastructure located in Australia, including the Amazon Web Services Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region. We do not disclose personal information outside Australia unless the relevant client has authorised it in writing and we have taken the steps required by APP 8. Data held in the My Health Record system is never transferred or processed outside Australia.
How long we keep information. We keep personal information only for as long as we reasonably need it, and we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it when it is no longer needed and we are not required by law to keep it. General website and email enquiries that do not proceed to an engagement are typically retained for up to 24 months and then deleted or de-identified as part of a periodic review, rather than on an individual basis. Where an enquiry becomes a client, we keep the information for the life of the engagement and for as long afterwards as we are required to for legal, tax and record-keeping purposes, generally up to 7 years. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep a minimal record of that request so we can continue to honour it.
Data breaches. We maintain a data breach response process. If we become aware of a data breach likely to result in serious harm, we act in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme in Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Where the breach involves personal information we hold on behalf of a client, we notify that client promptly so they can meet their own obligations.
Automated decision-making and AI. We use AI tools to help deliver our services, as described in our AI Use and Transparency Statement. Where AI is used to make, or substantially assist in making, a decision that significantly affects an individual, we disclose that use in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles, including the automated decision-making transparency requirements that commence in December 2026.
