Digital Account Manager

Quantum is looking for a digital account manager to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, your main focus will be client account management and growth, ensuring the delivery of web and digital projects. 

About the role – key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for growing revenue as well as the day to day management of these accounts and ensure customer success and satisfaction
  • Articulating Quantum's Value proposition to clients
  • Drive business growth through existing clients, developing a proactive action plan for your accounts in order to meet client retention and budget targets while identifying growth opportunities among existing clients.
  • Build and sustain strong and long-lasting relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business, building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Actively propose and help implement innovative strategies in order to meet and exceed the agency's overall revenue and profit targets
  • Motivate and support the teams in delivering an outstanding service in order to retain and grow all client accounts, taking responsibility for the quality of work carried out by all team members and ensuring the agency has the correct level of skills to grow your accounts. Guide the team and the client to drive outcomes, profitability and productivity across your accounts.
  • Develop briefing documentation (internal and external) and manage estimating process internally with stakeholders.
  • Liaise with the creative and technical teams' in terms of strategy and planning. Ensure Quantum's full resources are marshalled to effectively manage your accounts.
  • Support new business acquisition including but not limited to proposal writing, preparing for and delivering pitches
  • Prepare and deliver top quality proposals and presentations to clients to demonstrate progress and upsell additional products and services, ensuring that documentation and presentation material follows all company style guidelines
  • Oversee the delivery of discovery work and project manage on-going work for your clients, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standard, on time and to budget.
  • Ensure project estimates are accurate and profitable
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and provide timely and efficient responses to all client queries. Run WIP meetings with retainer accounts
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of a client's business and initiate business-growth ideas on behalf of Quantum and Client
  • Workshop facilitation and stakeholder management
  • Managing and maintaining leads provided from external events/marketing and follow up where required

What we're looking for – skills and experience

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an agency role within a client services, planning or project management team delivering websites and web solutions
  • Previous experience in customer service driven roles.
  • Strong understanding of the web design and development process. A high level understanding of UX, scoping, project management frameworks, user testing and research, Content Management Systems and platforms, technologies and processes and understanding the lifecycle of a website
  • High level customer relationship management skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain long lasting customer relationships
  • Proactive and highly organised, with excellent information management skills a proven ability to multi-task
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills and ability to deliver clear concise ideas to internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Passionate about digital marketing, with a general thirst for digital knowledge and a significant interest in new platforms and channels. Stay up-to-date and informed, being able to easily discuss digital trends and current industry issues
  • Demonstrated experience in scoping and managing web based projects
  • Innovative and creative, with a concise, precise and effective approach to problem solving and the ability to develop, deliver and evaluate brilliant ideas founded on rock-solid strategic thinking. This requires a strategy thinker with commercial acumen
  • Ability to present complex technical strategies with confidence and gravitas. Be across and able to articulate a client's digital strategy
  • Bright, motivated and driven, with the motivation to lead by example
  • Positive thinker, with a can-do attitude
