Bing takes another step to catch up

Can Bing really reach the dominance of Google in search?

On 3rd May 2011 at RIM’s annual Blackberry World, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer announced a new alliance between Microsoft and RIM, outlining how the two companies will work together. This partnership will see Bing as the default search and map provider on BlackBerry devices. Bing have also recently announced a partnership with Nokia which will also provide Bing search across Nokia devices. With the growth of Smartphone usage and using search directly from a Smartphone device these two partnerships could go a long way to making Bing power ahead in the search space and getting closer to breaking Google's dominance of the search space.
